Keep a windowsill observation journal
Choose a plant or growing project and retain its supplier instructions. Label the container and write down the start date, location and materials. Photograph it from the same angle as it changes.
Record observations separately from explanations: a leaf turned, a stem lengthened or the surface looked dry. This notebook is an observation project, not a guide to producing food safely or deciding that a plant is edible.
